Nebraska’s unemployment data for September 2019 has been released, and rates have stayed at a steady 3.1% since August, 0.4% higher than September 2018’s rate.
Omaha’s unemployment dropped 0.2% from 3.0% to 2.8% from August to September, while Lincoln’s rate dropped 0.2% from 2.9% to 2.7% from August to September.
Total non-farm employment for the state is at 1,035,731, a 0.1% increase from August to September and a 0.8% increase from September 2018 to September 2019.
