Seward Woman Dies After Being Struck By A Car

SEWARD–(KFOR June 8)–Police in Seward say a 74-year-old woman was hit by a car and later died at a Lincoln hospital on Monday afternoon.

Sophia Medrano was crossing a street in Seward, when a car driven by 93-year-old Joyce Meyer hit her. Medrano was taken to a Seward hospital, before she was life-flighted to Bryan West, where she died. The Nebraska State Patrol is handling the investigation.
