Southwest, North Star, Pius X, Lutheran, Norris and Waverly Reach State Volleyball Tourney

LINCOLN–(KFOR Nov. 3)–Six Lincoln metro area teams have qualified for the NSAA State Volleyball Tournament, which begins Wednesday at Pinnacle Bank Arena and wraps up Saturday at the Devaney Sports Center.

In Class A, Lincoln North Star will take on top-seed Papillion-LaVista South Wednesday at 5pm, while defending state champ Lincoln Southwest will face Millard West at 7pm. Once beaten Norris will open up the Class B tournament Wednesday at 9am against longtime rival Lincoln Pius X. Waverly will then play Bennington at 11am in the other part of the bracket.

In Class C2, defending state champion Lincoln Lutheran squares off with Hastings St. Cecilia at 5pm Thursday.
