Student Brings Gun to Lincoln Southeast High School

LINCOLN—(KFOR Nov. 13)—Lincoln Police have arrested a teen who allegedly brought a weapon into Lincoln Southeast High School on Monday.

According to LPD, the Gang Unit received a tip that a 16-year-old student had a gun on school property.  Investigators later found the teen at his south Lincoln home, where they recovered an orange-colored 9mm handgun loaded with six rounds inside his backpack.

The teen was arrested and referred for possession of a firearm on school grounds, possession of a handgun by a minor and carrying a concealed weapon without disclosure.
