Suspects Wanted in Sunday Night Robbery of Vehicle
LINCOLN–(KFOR Aug. 26)–Two men are wanted in connection to a robbery early Sunday evening in north Lincoln.
LPD Lt. Jason Goodwin tells KFOR News officers were called to the area of 48th and Adams, where the victim reported the robbery happened during a pre-arranged meeting for a sale of a vehicle. The two suspects took off in a black Chevy Malibu that was later found broken down at 87th and Adams. Goodwin says the car apparently hit a curb and blew a tire. Both suspects took off.
Goodwin says a search for the two men happened in the same general area, as they also utilized help from the Nebraska State Patrol air support and LPD K-9 units. KFOR News observed the perimeter that was set up in the area of 84th and Adams to 98th and Leighton. The suspects were not found.
Goodwin described the suspects as two black males, about 30-years-old, one of them about 6-feet tall, with a skinny build and wearing glasses. The other is about 5-and-a-half feet tall with a heavy build.
