WAVERLY–(KFOR Aug. 21)–A 19-year-old Firth man is in jail, accused of being involved in a series of recent crimes in the Waverly area.

Lancaster County Chief Deputy Sheriff Ben Houchin says Christian Randels was arrested initially for an unrelated theft charge and on a warrant from outside agency, but it was soon discovered Randels was linked to stealing two pickup trucks and targeted an ATM. During the investigation that started on August 2, Houchin says prescription drugs and $50 cash was stolen from a different vehicle. About $2,000 cash, 12 credit cards and five debit cards were taken from a nearby vehicle.
