The Heat Is On

(KFOR NEWS  July 16, 2019)   HERE…COMES…THE…HEAT!  National Weather Service meteorologist, Cathy Zapotocny, tells KFOR NEWS the Excessive Heat Watch starting Wednesday afternoon at 1pm through 7pm Friday may be extended into the weekend, depending on developing weather models.  Zapotocny tells us hottest weather Wednesday moves into the Fairbury and Beatrice areas.  On Thursday, hot weather spreads north of the Platte River, into Lincoln.  On Friday, Omaha gets the heat.
