Three Critically Hurt After Collision North of Lincoln

RURAL LINCOLN–(KFOR Sept. 29)–Lancaster County Sheriff’s officials are saying a car ran a stop sign near Highway 77 and Waverly Road Sunday afternoon, slamming into 2 other vehicles.

Four people were hurt, three with potentially life-threatening injuries… a 21-year-old man and a a 62-year-old woman from Fremont were flown by helicopter to the hospital.

A man from Omaha was taken by an ambulance. A juvenile was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. It appears everyone was wearing their seat belts.

What led to the crash is still under investigation.
