LINCOLN–(KFOR June 7)–Two men from the Chicago area were arrested Thursday on Interstate 80 in west Lincoln for criminal possession of a transaction device.
Sheriff Terry Wagner says the arrests were made, when a Lincoln Police Officer helped deputies made a traffic stop for following too closely just east of the NW 48th Street interchange.
Sherrif Wagner said deputies suspected criminal activity and searched the vehicle, finding $13,000 worth of brand new items along with credit card strip reading devices. They also found credit cards not matching the two men’s information.
Wagner says 21-year-old Quentin Mathews and 24-year-old Mark Woodberry were both put in jail.
