Two Huskers Cited In Friday Traffic Stop

LINCOLN–(KFOR July 15)–Lincoln Police say two Nebraska football players were cited, following a traffic stop for having no license plate on the front of a vehicle around 8pm Friday.

On Monday, Officer Angela Sands said the officer who made the stop could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle.  The driver , 21-year-old Marquel Dismuke, had a suspended license and was cited for driving under suspension.  His passenger, 21-year-old Jeremiah Stovall, was cited and released for possession of marijuana.

Dismuke will be a junior and Stovall a senior.  Both are defensive backs for the Huskers.
