Voter Turnout for Tuesday’s Election In Nebraska Slightly Above Projections

LINCOLN–(KFOR Nov. 6)–Preliminary data from Nebraska Secretary of State Bob Evnen’s office shows that voter turnout statewide was at 74%.

That number could inch up slightly, as the remaining ballots are counted. The 1968 general election had nearly an 81% voter turnout. The second-highest number of votes cast in Nebraska’s election history happened on Tuesday with 934,188 ballots turned in.

The most ever recorded was the 2020 election with 966,920 ballots.
