Woman Assaulted By Unknown Monday Night In Downtown Lincoln

LINCOLN–(KFOR Feb. 22)–An assault Monday evening in downtown Lincoln, where a 33-year-old woman was hit with what police call is a six-inch club.

Police Sgt. Chris Vigil says the woman was arguing with a man in the area of 11th and “O”, when the man allegedly hit the woman with the club, causing her to bleed from her head.  Her injury isn’t life-threatening.

The man took off on a bike by the time police showed up.  So far, no suspects.
