Young Boy Found Wandering Along Highway South of Lincoln

LINCOLN–(KFOR Aug. 1)–A 4-year-old boy reportedly wandered away from a Montessori school south of Lincoln last Thursday morning (July 25) and was found by a FedEx driver walking on the shoulder of Highway 77. The child was supposed to be watched by caregivers at Prairie Hill Learning Center. A Sheriff’s Office report says the child was found near Bennet Road, more than 3 miles from the Learning Center, but the FedEx driver says he he was found about a quarter mile away from the facility. A report has been given to the Department of Health and Human Services and the County Attorney’s Office to see if any further action is necessary.
