Lincoln Paper Carrier’s Stolen Vehicle Found Near Grand Island

LINCOLN–(KFOR Sept. 25)–A stolen vehicle from Lincoln ends up being found Sunday along I-80 near Grand Island and gun in the glove box was gone.

Lincoln Police Officer Angela Sands says the car was stolen from a 58-year-old woman, who had been out delivering papers near 67th and Sumner Saturday morning. She got out of the car, left the keys in the ignition and when she came back, the keys were gone.

After spending a longtime looking for them, she couldn’t find the keys and went home. Sands says the woman came back and found her car missing.

There are no suspects and the investigation continues.
