Man Accused of Hitting Parked Vehicles In Near South Area

LINCOLN–(KFOR June 2)–Early Saturday morning, a pickup was seen weaving all over the road in the 24th and A Street neighborhood where it hit a fire hydrant and ended up in the intersection of 24th and Randolph.

Officers found a highly intoxicated 24-year-old man passed out inside. Searching the area, they found five parked vehicles damaged by the pickup, along 24th Street from ‘B’ to ‘C’ streets. The driver was taken to a hospital, where a blood alcohol test was conducted as part of the DUI investigation…results aren’t back yet.

No one else was in any of the vehicles at the time.
