OMAHA, Neb. (AP Sept. 20) – Omaha police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old boy.

Police say officers sent around 1:55 a.m. Friday to check a report about a shooting found the wounded boy in the front seat of a vehicle in northeast Omaha. He’d been shot in the head.

Police say he was taken to Nebraska Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. He’s been identified as Gary Marshall.

Two juveniles at the shooting scene are being questioned. Police say officers aren’t searching for another suspect or suspects. No charges have been announced.
