Two-Alarm House Fire At East Central Lincoln Home Remains Under Investigation

LINCOLN–(KFOR Oct. 25)–Firefighters battled a two-alarm house fire late Sunday night at a home off of 49th and Randolph.

LFR Captain Nancy Crist says says the fire originated around an electrical outlet in a bedroom. One person was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition. Damage estimates are around $130,000.

Crist says one person was taken to the hospital and their condition is stable at this time. The fire was contained to a bedroom only and while the fire appears to be electrical in nature, what exactly caused the fire remains under investigation, as of early Monday afternoon.
