LINCOLN (KFOR NEWS – 8-12-19) — Lincoln Police are searching for two suspects who broke into a Casey’s General Store over the weekend. The Casey’s near 40th and Adams is reporting $7500 worth of damage after two men broke in just after midnight on Saturday, August 10th, using a cement block to smash the front door. Officer Angela Sands says that Lincoln Police are still reviewing surveillance footage in an attempt to identify the suspects, and to determine exactly what was stolen from the store. Preliminary investigation shows that suspects smashed the cash registers inside the store, before leaving with a number of items.
