Cold Air Funnel Reported Over Yutan Thursday Evening

YUTAN–(KFOR Aug. 4)–A funnel cloud formed in the sky over Yutan in eastern Saunders County on Thursday evening.
There was no severe weather threat but is a phenomenon created by winds flowing out of distant storms, called an outflow, and colliding with calm conditions it creates what are called cold air funnels that very seldom reach the ground.
No reports of damage or injuries.
