Nebraska Incurs First Fireworks Death of 4th of July Season

An Omaha man died at a hospital after he was injured by a backyard fireworks blast.
28-year-old Johnny Knight died Monday at Nebraska Medical Center. He suffered chest injuries when an artillery shell exploded outside his home Sunday evening.
Omaha Police said that particular firework is not legal for unlicensed use in Nebraska.
