LINCOLN–(KFOR Oct. 31)–A 26-year-old Lincoln man is accused of not complying to police officers, when they were called about a disturbance Wednesday afternoon at a home near 28th and “O”.

Police Officer Angela Sands says officers contactedTraves Nevels, who was allegedly standing on the front porch, holding a knife, yelling at several people.  Nevels was ordered to drop the knife  but refused to comply.

Officers eventually deployed a Taser and were able to safely take Nevels into custody without injury.  Nevels was arrested for Obstructing a Peace Officer and Resisting Arrest.
