Blood Drives In June

When you step up to donate blood, you are impacting the lives of many, including little Husker fans like James and Cole Younger. The twins were born three months premature. Since their bodies weren’t fully developed, they had heart and eye surgeries and needed more than 15 blood transfusions. Today, the boys are doing well and love playing sports and attending sporting events with their family. Help give others the opportunity to create memories this summer by donating blood. Through the month of June, Nebraska Community Blood Bank is offering all presenting donors the chance to win Kansas City Royals Huskers Night baseball tickets. Winners will be drawn weekly to attend Huskers Night on Saturday, July 27, at 6:15 PM at Kauffman Stadium when the Kansas City Royals take on the Cleveland Indians. Ticket winners will receive a Royals and Huskers themed bucket hat at the stadium.
