Update: LPD Releases Name Of Sunday Central Lincoln Homicide Suspect

LINCOLN–(KFOR Sept. 6)–The Lincoln Police Department is continuing investigating the Sunday morning homicide of a 28-year-old male in East Lincoln. At around 7:20 am Sunday, LPD officers responded to a shooting in an apartment in the 300 block of N 44th.  Officers located a male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds inside of the residence. Medical intervention was quickly initiated, but the victim died at the scene at the scene.

LPD Captain Jake Dilsaver told KFOR News Monday, 23-year-old male Lendell Harris is in custody at the Lancaster County jail for 2nd degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
