Man Armed with Drumsticks Attempts to Rob Lincoln Pizza Restaurant

A Lincoln man is in custody after attempting to rob a Papa Johns near 48th and Vine Wednesday evening.

Workers said 34-year-old Joseph Peterson threw a large rock at the window of the business and then held up a cardboard sign that read “Give me everything in the register.”

Peterson was contacted by police a short time later, walking in the neighborhood. No loss was reported, and Peterson was arrested for attempted robbery and criminal mischief.
