The Nebraska Supreme Court, Friday, denied the appeal of convicted murderer Jose Oliveira Coutinho.
Coutinho was a handyman in Omaha. He was convicted ten years ago of beating a Brazilian Missionary to death, then hanging the missionary’s wife and son before throwing the bodies in the Missouri River.
His appeal argued that his attorney was ineffective…but the court rejected the claim without a hearing. He got three life terms in prison.
